Joël J. Séguin: montreal, Quebec, Canada; I was born and raised partially in Quebec. I didn't discover I was an artist until I moved with my mom and sisters to Sydney, Nova Scotia where I began to develop my fondness for drawing. Whether it was my surroundings or a comic book, I loved art and knew that's what I had to do. I've been living in Montreal since 1999 and consider myself to be a typical Montrealer, half French, half English. I started my career as an artist in 2005 after graduating from the Illustration and Design program at Dawson College. My comic book colour work has been published by Marvel and DC and my fine art has appeared in galleries in Montreal.
